WHEREAS, Daniel Harshman, an employee of the Department of
Public Sa�ety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on August 29, 1971, while engaged in the performance
of his duties; and
WHEREAS, the Gity has incurr�d medical expense in the amount
of �28.75 therefor; and
WHEREAS, a compromise settlement has been negotiated between
said employee and the other party involved in said accident, which
provides for a net settlement to the Gity in the amount of �28.75;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officers are hereby authorized
to accept the sum of �28.75 in full, final and complete settlement
of its claim herein; that said sum of �28.75 is thereby credited
to the Workmen' s Compensation Fund.
