This ordinance establishes some of the titles which are now in the Unclassified Service in Model Cities. Model Cities positions are to come under civil service according to Federal guidelines. If these positions are established, examinations will be given and the titles in the Unclassified Service will be abolished. This is the first group of these ordinances. The Civil Service Bureau is in the process of preparing many others which will be brought to the Council as they are ready.
