WHEREAS� The C ty Council approved Contract for Professional
or Technical Servic s between the City and the Housing and Rede-
velopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul whereby the Authority�
would provide Technical Assistance to the City as part of the City s
Code Enforcement Program; and
WHEREAS� The City and Authority now agree tha.t it is in the
best interests of both parties to amend the Budget contained and
ma.de a part of said Agreement so as to impose a maximum City con-
tribution of the sum of $95�810.00 and the Housing Authority would
assume all expenses in addition thereto in the estimated amount of
$71,945.00; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED� Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does here-
by approve the proposed new Agreement between the City and the
Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of Saint Paul
whereby the Authority will continue to provide Technical Advice and
Assistance to the City for the City's Code Enforcement Program for
the period commencing January l� 1972� for a period of twelve (12)
months� subject to the City having the right to request an additiona.l
year's service from the Authority by giving the Authority written
notice on. or before November l� 1972� subject to a recomputation of
compensation to be paid� and the Mayor� City Clerk and Comptroller
are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of the
City of Saint Paul; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED� That the previous Agreement between the City
and the Housing and Redevelopment Authority9 approved by City
Council Resolution� C. F. 256890� be and the same is hereby rescinded.
