RESOLVED� That the Purchasin� Agent be authorized to purchase for the Departanent
of Public Safety� Bureau of Police fram DSI+�TSIONAL DISPLAY AND DESIGN CQRP4RATION at
a cost of $5,950.00 creative services for the desi�n and fabrication of ca.binets,
li�hting a,nd associated equipment to be installed in the Police Officer Recruitment
and Public Education Vehicle to be used at speakin� enga��anents on such sub�ects as
drug abuse, crime problems, public relations s:nd recruiting. Praposals having been
obtained frcm three vendors and eva,l.uated� the proposal of Dimensional Display and
Design Corporation was �udged to be most suitable. The original estimate of the cost
of this design a,nd fabrication was estimated �o be less than $5,000.00. The Corporation
Counsel is hereby ins�ructed to draft the proper contra,ets and obtain perfozma,nce bonds
for the award of this contract.
