In subsequent yeara, the hill to the rear of the parking lot eroded during periods of heavy rainfall. this caused a considerable loss in square footage to the parking lot do to the cracking, breaking away and land- sliding of the bituminous surface, We were finally able to atop the erosion by hauling in mixed loada of fill which would hold seed. We aeeded the hill heavilq in order to build a root eystem that would hold soil.
