DWELLING LEASE
THIS LEASE, made this j _ day of �����_,,.� , 19��,
by and between the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a municipal corporation under
the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "City��,
and Ralph B. Seidel

hereinafter referred to as "Tenant" ;
The City hereby leases to Tenant and Tenant hereby hires and
takes, to be occupied and used solely as a private dwelling unit
for Tenant and his own immediate family, the premises known and
describ�d, and for the term, as follows:
SPACE AND TERM:
Basement axea of principal building and appurtenant strnctures
and having a street address of 111� North Da1e Street ,
Saint Paul, Minnesota. Tenant agrees to pay the sum of $ 75.4�
per• month as rent at Bureau of Val�ationa, 286 City Hall . To
have and to hold the same for the term commencing on the lst day
of November , 19�, and expiring on the 30th day of
�ovember , 19�_, inclusive, and from month to
month thereafter. Such tenancy may terminate as follows:
a. Tenant may terminate the lease at any date during
the month by giving the City fifteen (15} days
notice in writing.
b. Termination of the tenancy by the City shall be upon
ninety (90) days written notice to the tenant except
for the following, in which aase the City retains the
right to evict without noticez
l. Failure to pay rent. �
2. . Maint�nance of a nuisance or use of the premises
for illegai purposes.
3. A material breach of the rental agreement.
4. Refusal to �consider accommodations meeting
relocation standards.
5. Refusal to admit a relocation interviewer or
counselor.
The Tenant having been in possesgion of the premises knows the
condition of same, and admits that no representations as to the
condition thereof have been made by the City which are not endorsr`ed
thereon, and agrees that the City will not alter, repair, or improve
such premises.

The Tenant agrees to keep the premises continually in a
neat, clean, and orderly c�ndition and will keep the sidewalks
in front of and along side said premises cleaned of ice and �now
or other objectionable material. All ashes, garbage and refuse
of any kind is to be removed by the Tenant or at the Tenant' s
expense. � �
The Tenant agrees to znake no claim and to hold tIe City
harmless from claims of others which may arise on ace � unt of
personal injury occurring in or about the premises or for loss
or damage to personal property.
The City, through its authorized employees or agents, shall
have the right to enter the premises at any time for the purpose
of inspection or r�pair for the premises or equipment therein, or
for such other purposes as may be deemed necessary by the City.
The City sha11 have the right, without notice, to sel].,
destroy, or otherwise dispose ot any personal prope=ty left on
the premises by th� Tenant after he has vacated or abandoned his
dwelling unit or been evicted therefrom.
No repairs or alterations shall be mad� except with the
knowledge and consent of the City. The Tenant is to be responsible .
�� for and will mend at his own cost any and all breakage and damage
done to any part of th� premises. The Tenant shall replace at his
_ own expense any glass broken on said premises during the continuance
of the lease.
The Tenant shall turn in keys to the premises to the City Bureau
of Valuatians, Room 286, City Hall and Court House, immediately upon
vacating premises.
All terms and conditions of this Dwelling Lease are hereinabove
fully set forth, and the parties hereto covenant and represent that
they have no further agreement or understanding except as follows:
Utilities including and limited to gas, electricit�r, and water tirill be provided
by the City of Saint Paul.
