WHEREAS, The Como Park Zoo of the City of St. Paul has
recently incurred the loss of one male Polar Bear, de�eased; and
WHEREAS, The Theodore Hamm Company of the City of St. Paul
has donated $2,500.00, which sum has been specifically donated for
the express purpose of replacing the deceased Polar Bear at the
Como Park Zoo; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper city officials be and hereby are
authorized and directed to purchase one male.Polar Bear from the
Abilene Zoological Ga'rdens in Abilene, Texas, for the sum of $2,500.00,
which sum constitutes the amount of the donation made by the Theodore
Hamm Companq and is to be drawn from the Animal Purchase Fund, Code
�.
No. 3750. Said purchase is for the exgress purpose of replacing
the deceased Polar Bear at the Como Park Zoo. ,
