WHEREAS, eleven members of the Israeli Olympi �
have been ruthlessly and inhu.m.anely slain at the hands o
terrorists during the conduct of the Olympic Games in
Munich, Germany; and
WHEREAS, these senseless and unexplainable acts of
terror serve only to further dampen the spirit of inter-
national cooperation and further rend the tender fabric
of international friendship; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Mayor and the Council of the
City of Saint Paul hereby express their deepest sen�e of
outrage and sadness at the result of this tragic event
and hereby extend their deepest sympathies to the families
of the deceased athletes.
