1 WI-IEREAS, in a cazeer spauning o r four decades, Eleni P. Skevas has acquired a broad base of legal knowledge
2 and developed her skills as an attorney in the private sector as well as the public sector; and,
3 WHEREAS, Ramsey County graciously "loaned" Eleni to the Saint Paul City Attorney's Office on June 19, 2000;
4 and,
5 WHEREAS, Eleni executed her duties, among which were advising the Saint Paul City Council on legal matters
6 and in matters of rule, in an exemplary fashion; and,
7 WHEREAS, Eleni is living proof that a"Good Lawyer" is not an oaymoron; now,
8 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council does hereby publicly and enthusiastically
9 proclaim its profound appreciation and gratitude for the legal expertise and friendship offered by Eleni P. Skevas;
10 and,
11 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that although she will be sorely missed, the Councii offers its warmest wishes for
12 a bright future as she returns to Ramsey County in the Juvenile Division.
