1 WHEREAS, Minnesota Laws of 2002, Chapter 393, Section 8 contains an appropriation to the
2 Metropolitan Council for Regional Parks and Open Space development grants, including a grant
3 to the City of Saint Pau1 for Phase II restoration of the Como Conservatory Fern House.
4 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, that the City
5 of Saint Paul agrees to comply with the requirements of said grant, and
6 FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and proper City officials are hereby authorized to
7 execute agreements with the Metropolitan Council to accept and implement said grant, and
8 FINALLY RESOLVED, by the council of the City of Saint Paul upon recommendation of the
9 Mayor and positive advice of the Long Range Capital Ixnprovement Budget Committee, that
10 $716,000.00 is available for appropriation in the 2002 Capital Improvement Budget and said
11 2002 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by the Council, is hereby further amended as
