WHEREAS, the City Council of the City o4 Saint Paui is informed by the
Oepartment of Parks, Recreation and Public Buildings that the vacant and open
building(s) Ixated at:
335 Aurora
in the City of Satnt Paul are a proximate hazard to the public health,
welfa�e and safety; and
WHEREAS, the (ast known �ecord owners of said property are:
Kenneth Spielman 334 University Ave�aue Saint Paui , Minnesota 55103
a�d said owners have tailed to secure the same against entry by unauthorized
persons fn violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Paui Lagislative Code,
and said vacant and open buitding(s) have been found and determined by the
Counctl of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the public health,
weifare and safety and a public nuisance which must be inanediately abated to
prevent loss of life or property; �ow, therefore be it
RESOIYED, that the Oepartment of Parks, Recreation and Public 8uildings
is authorized and directed to immediately secure said buildings by the use of
cont�ract labor under contract iVo. -�3- pending proceedings under the Hazardous
ttuildings Act; and be it L 7525
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the expense ot securing such buiidings be paid
from Fund No. Q979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation Counsel
be directed to take appropriate action to reimba�se said fund by action
against the owner of said property. Estimated cost: $377.85
