ury and incideatal to camplete said improvement,
under Preliminary Order 258781 approverl Ma� 2S, 1972
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to coitatr.uct and/ar reconstruct the sidewalk on the south side of Second Street froed
�iabasha Street to Jackson Street, portions of �hich vill be replaced �ith integral
curb and side�►alk and by doi�g all other �ork which is necessarp and incidental to
ae�mplete said iaprove�eent, except where it is determined that aeod and sufficie�t '
poured sideWalks now exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 4.9� rer lin ft for S' Wide walk
$ 5.85 per lin ft for 6' wide walk
$ 1.50 per sq ft for inte. curb � walk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the Sth day of
Se�tember i 97� , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
sa.id meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
