E EAS, the City Council is desirous of providing better
opportu y r citi.zens to attend Council sessions in order to
express their views on various matters of public concern; and
WHEREAS, this City Council feels that it would be more
convenient for people to attend during the evening hours; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the first Wednesday City Council meeting
of each month be recessed and reconvened at 7:30 p.m, in the
Council Cha.mbers, in order that citi.zens may be heard; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be requested to
prepare each Wednesday's agenda of the Council so that matters
of public importa.nce be scheduled for the aforesaid night meeting.
