WHEREAS, the Council of the City of 5aint Paul is informed by
the���ta�that the vacant and open buildings located at:

-in the City of Saint Pau1 axe a pro:cimate hazard to the public health,
welfare and s afety; and
WHEREAS� the Iast known record owners of s aid property are:
_Catholic Orphan As�rlum Assn. of St. Paul, 355 Marshall
� -and said ownera have failed to secure the saxne against entry by unauthorizecl
� perr�ons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legislative Co�e, and
� eaid vacant and open buildings have been found and determined by th� Council
� � of the City of Saint Pa�l to conatitute a menace to the public health, welfare
�' '� and �afety and a public nuisaz�ce which must be immediately abated to prevent
� loea of lifo or property; naW,. therefore be it

���- RE50LVED, that the City Architect is authorized and directed to
� immediately eecure said buildings by the use of contract labor under Contract
No. �?�$pending proceedings, under the Hazardous Buildings Act; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED, that the expense of securing such buildings be
paid from Fund No. 0979-269, Summary Abatement, and that the Corporation
Counsel be directed to take appropriate action to reimburse said fund by
action against the owner of said property. Estimated cost, $1000.
