�VHEREAS, the Ctty Council of the City of Sai�t Paul is info�med by the
Department of Parks, Recreation artd Pubiic Bulldings that the vacant and open
buildingts) located at:

in the City of 5aint Paul are a proximate hazard to the pubilc health,
welfare and safety; and
WHEREAS, the tast known record owners of said property a�e:
Ms. Eliza�eth Karr

and sald awners have failed to secure the same against entry by unauthorized
persons in violation of Section 192. 18 of the Saint Paul Legisiative Code,
and said vacant and oper► buildingts) have been found and determined by the
Counctl of the City of Saint Paul to constitute a menace to the pubiic health,
wetfare and safety and a public nuisance which must be immediately abated to
prevent loss of iife or property; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Depa�tment of Parks, Recreation and Pubiic Buildings
is authorized and directed fio immediatety secure said buiidings by the use of
contract labor under contract t�to. �3� pending proceedi�gs under the Hazardous
8uildings Act; and be it L 7 525
fURTHER RESOLVED, that the expense of securing such buildings be paid
from Fund No. 0979-269, 5amma�y Abatemer�t, and that the Corporation Counsel
be directed to take appropriate action to reimburse said fund by action
against the owner of said property. �
