The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to recoastruct the sidewalk and re�lace portioas vith integral cc�rb and sideWalh �
on the south side of Wella Street fro�a Arcade Street to Payne Aveaue and os the
n�rt� side ef Ne11s. Street frc� Gree��rier St. to tbe west approxi'ately 2� feet
and by doing all other vork ahich is necessary arid incideatal to co�plete said
i=pravea�nt, eacept where it is detersiaed goad and sufficient ponred sidevalks
ua� exist,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 4•9U per lin ft for 5' vide Walk
$ 5.85 per lin ft for 6' wide t�alk
$1.50 ger sq ft for inte curb � valk
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 8th day of
August,1972 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hail Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the na.ture of the improvement and_the total cost thereof as estimated.
