under Preliminary Order _ 257165 approvec� .ianuarq 25, 1972
The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the sa.id report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to conde�an and take an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and
fills, including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remaiader
thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof, or construction of slopes in the grading
and surfacing �ith bituminous material the alleq in Block 2, Birningham's Second
Addition frc�a Rennard Street tq�landrau Street (G-2001), in accordance with the
blueprint hereto attached and �ade a part hereof, the hatched portiona showing the
cuts and the shaded portions sho�wing the fills,
with no alternatives, and that the estimated coat thereof is $ 2.,550.00
Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the �st day of
August,. 1972 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,. sta.ting the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cast thereof as estimated.
