CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA �

1 WHEREAS, the City has received a CDBG loan repayment from the William's Hili project; and

3 WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify
4 that there are available for appropriation $5,120,000 in funds in excess of those estimated in the 2002
5 budget; and

7 WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul has approved utilizing
8 this funding for the Phalen Village Superblock Development project; now, therefore be it
9
10 RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
11 hereby approve the following amendment to the Community Development Block Grant Fund:

The Phalen Village Superblock project needs additional funding in order to get underway in June. CDBG program income
from the loan repayment of the William's Hill project is available for this purpose.
