Auto Parts, Inc., 208 EAST ARLINGTON AVENtTI: and said amount was paid in error
by said owners of abone described property with Real Estate Taues, and
WI��tEAS, said amouat of $392.60 should have been certified agafnst
the following described property: Subject to sewer easement; West 100 feet of
ATorth 150 feet; Lot 7 in J. W. Bass Garden Lots, owned by Assets Transfer Company,
said amount ia being certified to the County Auditor to be paid With above
described property �.eal Estate Taxes,
THEREFORF., BE IT RESOLVBD, that the Accounting Division of the Fiaance
Department to the�City of St. Paul be suthorized to issue a refund in the amount
of said $392.60 to Noran's Auto Parts, Inc., 208 East Arlington Avenue, St. Paul,
Minaesota 55117, being $232.84 principal and $159.76 interest.

Dear Sir: .
The �teceipts and Disbursements section of the Finance Department must
prepare a report of delinquent assessments on an annual basis which
means thaC each and enery accouat, on every parcel of land, must be
checked and any installment with interest which would become due
in the current year must be listed bq legal descriptian, by code number
and account number and submitted to the Couaty Auditor.
These delinquent assessment installm�nts are then added to the Eeal
Estate Tax sCatemeats by parcel code aumber for payment and the City
receives payment by the County Treasurer.
The Finance Department reported delinquent assessments ia the amouat of
$392.60 against property owned by Assets Transfer Company, but using
the wraag parcel code nnmber. Due to this error, the assessment was
placed on the wrong property and paid by Norm's Auto Parts, Inc.
In order to correct our enor, we are asking for authorization and
direction to the Accounting Division of the Finance Departmeat to issue
a refund check in the amount of $392.60 made out to Norm's Auto Parts, Inc.
