WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul has adopted
an ordinance providing for personnel for the Office of the Maqor,
under Council File No: a��il.
WHEREAS, The Council recogaizes that eome delay will result
before the terms and provisions of eaid ordinance becoiae effective,
and
WHEREAS, The Council further recognizes the necessitq for
appointing an Adminiatrative Aideto the Mayor, pursuant to the
provisions of said ordinaace at a time prior to its effectine
date, said appointment requiring the establishment of appropriate
salary rates, and
WHEREAS, an ordinance has been introduced establishing the
range of salarq for said position as grade 40, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that this Council does herebq express its intent
to establish said salarq rate for the positioa of Admiuistrative
Aide to Mapor, from and after the effective date of this resolution,
and that aaid ordinance subsequently passed bq the Council �hall
reflect thie intent.
