An ordinance amendi.ng Ordinance No. 15057, entitled:
"An ordinance providi.ng for the temporary reduction of the
minimum entrance requirements for the classes of Deputy Chief of
Police and Captain.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 15057, approved April 3, 1972,
be and the same is hereby amended by str�tng the foiiowing:
"Section 2. That for the first examination foilowing the effective
date of this ordinance, the minimum entrance requirements as set
forth in Ordinance No. 7607 for the class of Captain shall be reduced
to the following:
"High school graduation and eighteen months� experience in the
position and holding the title of Lieutenant. (No substitution
for experience. )" . "
Section 2. This ordi.nance shall take effect and be i.n force thirty
days after its passage, approval, and publication.
