1 WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council, by its Resolution 00-1082 approved and
2 accepted a grant from the State of Minnesota via the Metropolitan Council for the Samuel H.
3 Morgan (Old Shepard Road) Regional Trail Project between Randolph Avenue and Market
4 Street, said grant to provide funds to match a federal TEA-21 grant for the project, and
5 WHEREAS, the federal TEA-21 funding for the project has been approved, and will be
6 administered by the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) as provided under
7 Agreement No. 79394 between the City and MnDOT, with said funds reimbursed to the City
8 upon City's payment far contracted work,
9 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon
10 recommendation of the Mayor and the positive advice of the I,ong Range Capital Ixnprovement
11 Budget Coxmnittee, that $2,000,000.00 is available for appropriation in the 2002 Capital
12 Improvement Budget, and said 2402 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by the Council,
13 is hereby fiuther amended as follows:
