This ordinance takes the title of Police Dispatcher out of Grade 22 and
puts it in Grade 19 of the clerical occupational group. There are no employees
yet working in this title, therefore no employee1s salary will be lowered by this
changeo
This change in grading is being made as a result of comparing the duties,
responsibilities and qualifications of the Police Dispatcher with the duties,
responsibilities and qualifications of other clerical titles, Based on these com-
parisons it appears that Grade 19 for the title of Police Dispatcher is more in line
with our current grading structure for the clerical occupational group.
Please do not remove this attachazent, so that it
may be available for Council information.
