WHEREA3, the City of Saint Paul has retained $708.25 found
on the person of Vernon LeRoy Rollins on May 23, 1966, when he was
arrested on a charge o� armed robbery of Wosika' s Buffet, 731
Randolph Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesotap and
WHEREAS, said Vernon LeRoy Rollins has been convicted accord-
ing to law for the said armed robbery of Wosika' s Buffet; and
WHEREAS, St. Pau1 Fire & Marine Insurance Company, a� insurer
of Wosika' s Buffet, has claimed against the City of Saint Paul for
the return of said $708.25; and
WHEREAS, the St. paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company has
agreed �o indemnify and hold harmless the City of Saint Paul from
the demands of third parties claiming said $7�8.25; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, that th� proper City ofticials are authorized to
execute the attached Indemnity Agreement for the City of Saint Paul;
and be it further
RE50LVED, that �he proper City officials are authorized to
return said $708.25 to St. Pau1 Fire & Marine Insurance Company
pursuant to the terms of said Indemnity Agreement.

THI5 AGREEi�3ENT, made and entered into this day of
, 1972, l�y and betweer� the City of Saint Paul, a
municipal corporatioa of the State of Minnesota, f irst party,
hereinafter called City, and St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company,
a Minneaota corporation, second garty, hereinafter called Compaay,
WITNESSETH:
1n�iEi�:AS, the City has retained $708.25 fouad on the person
of Vernon LeRcq Rollins on May 23, 1966, when he was arrested on a
charge of armed robbery of Wosika's Buffet, 731 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul,
Minnesota;
W�R�AS, the Companq, as iasurer of Wosika�s, has claimed
against the City for the return of said money on the basis that it wsa
taken from Wosika's T3uffet in the robbery;
NOW, THEItEFORE, 3n consideration of the premises and the
promises to be performed by the parties hereto, it is �greed as follows:
1. That the City shall transmit to the second party
party the sum of $708.25 clafined by said party as money takea
£rom Woeilca's Buffet when it caas robbed on i'�ay 23, 1966;
2. That in exchange for such transmittal, second party
wi11 indemnifq and keep indemnified the City of 5aint Paul
