WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the
City of Saint Paul to permit an Indian Week Parade to be
conducted in the city; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary because of the time
element that the provisions of City Ordinance 130 .09 on
parade regulations be temporarily suspended;
Now, Therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby grants
permission for the Indian Week Parade to be held Wednesday,
Ma.y 10, 1972 , to commence at 1: 30 p.m. , on the following
route established in cooperation with the Police Department:
Commence on Columbus Avenue, march south on Cedar Street
to Kellogg Boulevard, west on Kellogg Boulevard to Wabasha
Street, and return north on Wabasha Street to Columbus Avenue.
