• RESOLVE� , That the City Council hereby concurs in the action
of the Contract Committee in the award of a contract for furnishing
all labor, materiais, equipment and services flecessary or incidental
to the Ct?NS'�'RUCTION OF MON(?LITHIC C�NCRETE SIDEWALKS in the City
of Saint Paul, �idewalk District No. 2, for tl�e Department of Public
Works, to P�derson Brothers Cement Contracto�s� Inc. for the cont�act
price of �132,463.75 (plus Valuation and Assess ServicES 2� -
�2,649.28� Engineering and Inspection - 16.5% - 521,856.52, Lighting
Costs (Testing La.b.) t200.00) a� a result of Formal Bid No. 5020
and th�a spe�ifications incorporated ther�in. Pederson Bros. C�ment
Contract�rs, Inc. being the lowest responsible bidder under the
sp�cificati4ns and the Corporation Counsel is hereby directed to
draft the p�oper form of contract and obtain the necessary per-
formatice anc� payment bonds. The proper Gity officials are hereby
authorized �o execute said contract on behalf of the Gity of Saint
P aul.
