02-437Council File # �, � �'�' � 7 Green 5heet # 110146 RESOLUTION C�F SA��L, MINNESOTA �� Presented By �� Referred To Committee: Date 1 WHEREAS, John Kratz, 1424 Edgcumbe Road, Saint Paul, MN 55116, is the owner and developer 2 of Deer Park West End, located on the west side of Lexington Parkway at A{bion Avenue, and 3 described within the following "Attachment A;" 4 5 WHEREAS, this property is being developed into a twelve unit "owner-occupied," townhouse 6 development and there are insufficient house numbers to allow for twelve addresses on Lexington 7 Parkway; 8 9 WHEREAS, the developer is constructing a private street as shown on "Attachment B" to provide 10 access to the townhome units; 11 12 WHEREAS, it is desirable to provide unique street addresses for each residence to reduce 13 confusion and create a better sense of an individual owner's residence; 14 15 WHEREAS, the developer desires to name this private street and have their townhomes 16 addressed off this street; now be it 17 18 RESOLVED, that the Department of Public Works shall issue house numbers for the townhomes 19 using Deer Park as the designated street name; and be it further 20 21 RESOLVED, that the developer and/or the successors in interest shall install and maintain house 22 numbers on the homes in accordance with Chapter 71 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, and 23 shall install and maintain at their own cost and expense the necessary signing of the private street, 24 to be known as Deer Park, as required by the Department of Public Works; and be it further -2- 25 26 27 28 29 30 O'�.-�l'�''! ftESOLVED, that the developer and/or the successors in interest shalf be responsible for the construction and continued maintenance of the proposed private street, at their own cost and expense; and be if finally RESOLVED, that the private street as shown on "Attachment B," shall hereafter be known and designated as DEER PARK and shall remain a privately owned street.
