WHEREAS, The bituminous surfacing of Wa1sh Street from Cook Avenue to I�Iagnolia
Avenue was damaged due to a water main break; and,
WHE�tEAS, The replacement of this surfacing is considered as an emergency, as
defined under Section 2g1 of the Legislative Code to prevent in�ury to the
City of Saint Paul and the Board of Water Commissioners; and,
WHEREAS, The total cost of the bituminous paving is not to exceed $7,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVID, That the Purchasing Agent be directed to take
Informal Bids on this repair work to be accomplished in accordance with plans
a.nd specifications prepared by the Water Department, and the City Attorney be
directed to prepaxe a formal contract for such work.
