WHBRBAS, it is important in the interest of health and esthetic
value to �ive special encouragement to those citizens of St. Paul desiring
to accomplish a special cleanup of their premises following a long, arduous
winter, and ,
WHERFAS, the week of April 22 through April 29, 1972, has been
designated by individuals, organizations, and neighborhood associations
as "Clean Up, Fix Up, Paint Up Week" coordinated by the St. Paul Beautiful
Coordinating Cammittee, and since other neighborhood organizations have
already scheduled 1�4ay 6, 1972 as a neighborhood cleanup day,
NOW, THERSFORE, BE IT RESOLVBD that for the days of April 29,
1972, and May 6, 1972, �� landfill disposal charges at Pig's Eye Sanitary
Landffll shall be waived for reeidents of the City of St. Paul. This waiver
shall apply only for residential type refuse delivered to the landfill in
sutomobiles, two-wheel trailers, and pickup trucks up to 1/2 ton capacity.
