WHEREAS� Th Saint Paul-Ramsey County Criminal Justice
Advisory Commiss on ha.s reviewed application for State Crime Com-
mission Grant Funds on behalf of The House by the Side of the Road,
Inc. , for the operation of a shelter for homeless youth 13-21
years of age� and the Commission recommends the program application
to the City Council; and
WHEREAS� Said application contemplates the City of Saint Paul
submitting application therefor to the State of Minnesota
Governor's Commission on Crime Prevention and Control and that the
implementati�n or Operating Agency under the Grant Agreement would
be The House by the Side of the Road� Inc. ; now� therefore� be it
RESOLVED� Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby authorize the submission of the Grant application to the
Governor' s Commission� and the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to execute the application on beha.lf of the City.
