Dear Mrs. Hunt:
I can sense that the CounciZ is well aware that this is not an
either/or questiari. This sesr; i.ret wilt occur; it is
only a question of en. This aves the option of apprrnring

To a degree I can sympathize wi those who feel that we are
here and nor having to pay a hi cost or clean-up. Horevers
this is inescapable. We are pa ' the cost incurred by short-
sighted and irresponsible trations of the past plus the
cost of ou.r cywn contributions t the swer load. Unfa3r as th3.s
may seem, it is no eCSCUSe for 3ng shortsighted and irrespons3.b].e
in turn at the expense of fut generatians. We cmend rou. in
&dvance for your proper decisio on this issue.
Sincerely yours
