RESOLVED� Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby rescind its previous resolution, Council File No. 261233�
adopted May 8, 1973, the said resolution No. 261233 requesting the
Metropolitan Transit Commission to reroute Bus Routes 9, 14 and
15 south from Eighth Street on Jackson Street to Sixth Street, th�n
westbound on Sixth Street to their present routes, one bus route
at a time over the next several months; and be it ,

As a result of thia survey it va� decided to move 3, or maybe '�
only 2, of the 5 aestbaurxl bus lines now using $Lghth Street, �;
ovar to Sixth 3t,reet�where it ahould shorten the diatance �
walked for most of those bus ridess.

on a one or two year t,t�ial basis

on],y, was mentioned but xas not recommetxied a,s it wauld take �:
