In the matter of the appeal of the City of Saint
Paul from the judgment of the Honorable E. T'homas
Brennan filed. on July 27, 1973 in the Conciliation
Court, City of Saint Paul, awarding plaintiffs
Lester T. Benson, Theodore P. Brown, Ray A. Grosberg,
James S. Jerylo, Laverne R. Lee, Gary M. McAlpine,
Walter H. Robilliard, Jr. , Stephen J. Roscoe,
Ronald M. Ryan, Frank J. Savino and Larry J. Winger
accrued back pay for the period of July 10, 1972
to January 20, 1973, said accrued back pay calculated
as the difference betweer� the 3 percent minimum
increase specified by Ordinance No. 3250 as amended
and the 5 percent minimum increase specified by
Ordinance No. 15113.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul that the
City Attorney be and is hereby d.irected to d.ismiss the appeal filed.
in the Municipal Court, City of Saint Paul, on the basis of the
equities involved, and that the Police Department of the City be
and is hereby directed to pay the ac�rued back pay in the amounts
of the respective Conciliation Court judgments, Case Numbers
210355 through 210365.

"The Committee recommends dismissal of the appeal and that
