RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Council of the City
of Saint Paul hereby extend their deepest sympathy to the
family of the late Honorable Edward K. Delaney, Judge of
the Saint Paul Municipal Court, upon his departing this
life on October 2, 1973, and wish all citizens of the City
of Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, to duly note the many
years of splendid public service that have been rendered
by the late Judge Delaney as the holder of several public
offices including Justice of the Peace, Mayor of the City
of Saint Paul and Commissioner of Ramsey County, and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Saint Paul acknowledges on behalf of its citizens, the deep
debt owed to Judge Delaney for his many years of outstanding
service as a member of the judicial branch of government
and his untiring ceaseless efforts in the pursuit of the
cause of justice.
