therein, for the above improvement, and the award of damages therefor, and also upon the assessment
of benefits therefor, and the Council having duly considered the same, now therefore be it
Resolved, That the taking and condemnation of the lands described in the annexed assessment roll,
identified by the signature of the Commissioner of Finance, and made a part hereof, and the awards of
damages to the owners of such lands for said taking and condemnation as set forth in said assessment
roll, be and the same is hereby in all respects ratified and confirmed.
Resolved further, that the said assessment of benefits, be and the same is hereby in all respects
ratified, and the same is hereby ordered to be submitted to the District Court for confirmation.

This is in response to �totice of �iea.ring in Condemnation
Proceedings concerning prelimi:nary order 267.L�1�,�, Administrative
Order D-307 and F'inal Order 261571,
It will not be possible for Mrs. Slettom or me to be present
for the hearing regarding the alley improvement.
In addition to the fact that this is a very costly project
compared to other alley improvements, we a.re eoneerned about
two other matters as follows:
l. We ha.ve no definite assura.nce that the hedge �rhieh
boun.ds the alley on our $ide will not be injured or
destroped. There is a good possibili�y that the
hedge overhanc� r�rill be inj�red durir�g eonstruction.
2. We are coneerned about sewer baek up trouble sine�
the proposed alley storm sewer will exit within a
few feet of where our home sewer line empties into
the ma.in seuer.
We ha.ve never experienced anp back up problem but believe this
eould happen when a11 the water from the alley has to flow
through this one point so near our �ewer exi.t. To our
l�oWledge all other home� along the alley either have their
sewer e�o.sts on Cleveland or.Raymond.
