Dear Sir:
This is written in response to the application of Chrysler Realty
Corporation for a permit for an automobile dealership on property
located on the north side of Suburban between Ruth and White Bear,
and further described by the legal description on file.
The Zoning Board considered this matter at its June 7, 1973, public
hearing at which time the staff said that the Traffic Engineer wanted
the curb cuts relocated. The staff said that because of the size of
the paved area, they would like to see additional landscaping.
There was a motion to lay over the matter to allow the applicant to
discuss landscaping plans with the staff but was withdrawn when a
representative of the applicant said they had come out fro�m Detroit
for the meeting, A motion for denial cited traffic problems in the
area. The seconding motion also cited the traffic situation. The
motion passed by a vote of 4 to 0.
On June 19, 1973, plans were received which provided the changes
requested by the Traffic Engineer and the landscaping requested by
the staff.
