RESOLVED, That the City Council hereby concurs in the action
of the Purchasing Committee in the award of a contract for furnish- .
ing all labor� materials, equipment and services necessary or
incidental to the INSTALLATION OF NEW ALUMINUM WINDOWS at the
Main Public Library� 90 W. Fourth St. � St. Paul� Minn. for the
Department of Community Services - Div. of Libraries� to: DeVAC,
INC. for the contract price of $146� 790.00 (LUMP SUM BID - 5141,840.00-
New Windows with D5B Glass -Plus Alt: No. 3 -New Windows with
Solar Glass and DSB Glass $4,950.00) , (Plus - Engineering and
Inspection -$3� 210.00) as a result of Bid Nv. A5644 and the spec-
ifications incorporated therein. DeVac� Inc. being the lowest
responsible bidder• under the specifications; and the Corporat-
ion Counsel is hereby directed to draft the proper form of con-
tract and obtai.n �the necessary performance and payment bonds.
The proper City officials are hereby authorized to execute said
contract on behalf of the City of St. Paul.
