WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by resolution
adopted Janua.ry 17, 1973, authorized the submission by the Mayor of
application to the Governor' s Commission on Crime Prevention and
Control for funds to operate a City-Wide Yo�.th Service Bureau, the
application being ma.de for a Grant in the amount of $236x111.00;
and
a
WHEREAS, The City of -Sai� Pa 1 ha.s been notified that the
Grant Application ha:s been approved, providing the City with a
Grant in the amount of $193,992 .00 and requiring a local ma.tch in
the amount of $120,000.00; now� therefore, be it
RESOLVED, Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
approve and authorize execution on behalf of the City of Saint Paul
Grant Agreement between the City and the State of Minnesota
Governor' s Commission on Crime Prevention and Cont�ol for Project
entitled "City-Wide Youth Service Bureau", providi`ng the City of �
Saint Paul with the sum of $193,992 .00 with the City ma.tching this
Grant with the sum of $120,000.00, the Grant Program covering the
period August 1, 1973 through July 31, 1974, and the proper City
officers are authorized and directed to execute the Grant Agreement
on beha.lf of the City of Saint Paul.
