WHEREAS, The Depa�tment of Public Works, Division of Operations, has
issued the he�ein mentioned Registered Bills, Now Therefore be it
Registered B111 No. 1-2886, dateci� September 17, 1969, issued to the
North End Improvement Club, in the amount of-$23.54, should be can-
cetled due to a misunderstanding petween the Club and the Commissioner
of Public Works as to who was to pey,for the barricades used for the
Rice Street Parade. It was decided that Public Works would assume the
. bill and therefore should be cancelied.
Registered Bill No. 1-3646, dated December 1 , 1970, tssued to Western
Tree Servtce, in the amount of $226.6g, should be cancelled as the
City Attorney's office ca�not find the firm or owners (we assume they
went out of business) to bri�g into court for collection.
Registered Bil) No. 1-5856, dated February 15, 1973, issued to Bianch
Clay, 552 Fuiler Avenue, St. Paul , Minn. 55103, in the amount of $37•95,
should be cancelled as the home was torn down by the Housing Authority
and our Department and the City Attorney's office has failed to locate
the above person for collection of this bill .
Registered Bill No. 1-5991 , dated March 26, 1973, issued to Wiliiam
Robert Kane, 1626 Englewood, St. Paul , Minn. 55104, in the amount of
$223.78 - According to the City Attorney's office, the report from
the Police showed no damages to guard rails on bridge and, therefore,
the bill should be canceiled as we cannot bring suit in court for
coilection.
Registered Bill No. B-01438, dated July 6, 1973, issued to Christopher
Roderick, 1g55 Yorkshire Street, St. Paul , Minn. 55116, in the amount
of $21 .41 - The Trafflc Division decided that the above person did not
damage any City property; therefore, this bill should be cancelled.
