MEMORANDUM TO COUNCIL
RE: Registered Bill Number 1-5632
Department of Public Works
The Office of City Attorney has reached tentative
settlement with Gateway Transportation of La Crosse,
Wisconsin to compromise the above registered bill in
the amount of $575.00. This figure was arrived at by
reducing the bill $42.94 which is a charge for ordering,
storing and inventorying the parts used in the repair
and an allowance of approximately 4/ for depreciation.
Based on the total cost of repair and the settlement
figure, this office recommends the above settlement.
