WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul passed Council File
253938 on May 6, 1971, which resolution ratified the assessment of benefits
against privately-owned property for improving Concord Terrace, 1969, (City
Project P 516) on Robie Street as realigned from State Street to Congress
Street and Winifred Street from Ada Street to State Street, in the amount
of $1,107.31; and
WHEREAS, subsequent action of the City Council as evidenced by Council
File 260469, approved January 10, 1973, resolved that certain assessments
for local improvement in that eligible area identified as Concord Terrace,
1969, (City Project P 516) , of which the above referenced streets are in-
cluded, shall be constructed without assessments against abutting properties
and shall be paid by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of
Saint Paul from Urban Renewal Bond Funds; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the assessment of benefits heretofore ratified by the
Council of the City of Saint Paul pursuant to resolution, Council File
253938, shall be and is in all respects cancelled and rescinded and, further,
that the proper City officers are hereby directed to submit a registered bill
in the ammunt of $1,107.31 to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the
City of Saint Paul as payment in full of said assessment; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Department of Finance and Management Services,
Division of Assessments and Valuations, be authorized to take all necessary
action to rescind the assessment as is consistent with this resolution and
file a certified copy of this resolution in District Court.
