WHEREAS, the Selby District Commercial Club has initiated a
clean-up campaign in the Selby-Dale area, and
WHEREAS, the Club has donated truc[cs available to transport collected
refuse to the station, and
WHEREAS, the Club is being assisted in this operation by American
Hoist and Derrick Company, and
�[HEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul recognizes that a
community problem exists with regard to litter in the Selby-Dale area and
desires to assist the community in their merltorious self-help efforts
to rectify the problem, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby re uests
the transfer of funds from the Contingency Reserve General Account �Code
No. 09060-410) in the total amount of $500.00; said sum to be placed in
the Public Works Litter Baskets-Sanitary Servlce Account (Code No. 02220-222)
and to be made payable on billing submitted by Amerlcan Hoist and Derrick
Company for their serv'ices rendered �tn this clean-up campaign.
