A-1 WHEREAS, by its Resolution, Council File Nos. 260554 and 260555, adopted January 26, 1973, and approved January 29, 1973, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota did approve the Neighborhood Development Program Minn. A-1, Year V, May 1, 1973 to April 30, 1974, and annual incre- ment thereof, authorizing and approving the filing of an application for Federal financial assistance , and further approved Redevelopment Plans for the areas comprising said Program, namely, Summit-University Minn. A-1-1; West Midway-South St. Anthony Nli.nn. A-1-2; Thomas-Dale Minn. A-1-3; Central Core Minn. A-1-5; Seven Corners Minn. A-1-6; and West Seventh Street Minn. A-1-7; and �,_� WHEREAS, by reason of change in level of Federal funding and new � Federal guidelines as to NDP program activities, the Housing and Redevelop- ment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota has found it necessary to make certain revisions to the Council approved NDP Year V Plans and Programs, and has requested further Council public hearing on these revised proposals, Now Therefore RESOLVED, by the eoaneil of the City of Saint Pau1, Minnesota that a public hearing be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall and Court House, Saint Paul, Minnesota, on Tuesday, August 21, 1973, at 10:00 A.M. , upon the proposed revised Plans and Programs, all in accordance with Federal, State, and Local law and regulations. Revision of the Year V Program has been necessitated by HUD revised program guidelines and reduced levels of Federal Funding. Funding level commitment in discussion since January of 1973 has now been given by HUD with tender of a Funding Agreement as of August 30, 1973. In that the program should not be further delayed, I suggest a public hearing date for Tuesday, August 21, 1973, at 10: 00 A.M. , with direction to the City Clerk to cause publication of the necessary notice at Authority expense.
