WHEREAS, prior to the enactment of Chapter 1138 of the
Laws of Minnesota for 1969, the City of Saint Paul did incur
certain preliminary expenses indigenous to the construction of
the Civic Center of $11, 272.69 as outlined in the attached
Exhibit "A" ; and
WHEREAS, said $11, 272.69 is now shown as a liability
in the construction account, payable to the City of Saint Paul;
and
WHEREAS, the Civic Center Authority recommends that these
costs which are properly capital costs of the facilities should
be capitalized.; and therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper city officials are hereby
authorized to make the proper accounting adjustments to document
this $11, 272.69 as a capital expenditure and eliminate the
existing liability from Civic Center accounts.
