WHEREAS, the 1953 United Improvement Bond Advisory
Committee has served a span of twenty years of long and diligent
service to elected officials and citizens to the City ot Saint
Paul, and
WHEREAS, the present membership of the Committee has
particularly distinguished themselves in providing invaluable
information and advice to city officials in the area of bond fund
expenditures, and
WHEREAS, all citizens of the City of Saint Paul should.
be mindful of the membership of the present committee and its
many hours of service to the City, both meeting as a whole and
individually, in contributing invaluable advice and commentary
concerning the expenditure of bond funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council
of the City of Saint Paul publicly record their deep appreciation
and, gratitude to Mr. Paul A. Schilling, Chairman, Messrs. Al�ert H. `
Daggett, Richard C. Radman, Jr. , Lawrence Rylander, Frank Widerski,
the Honorable Archie Gingold, and Frank Madd.en, Executive Secretary
of the 1953 United. Improvement Bond Advisory Committee for distinguished
meritorious service and exemplary display of good. citizenship in
their efforts as members of said. committee, and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized.
and d.irected to send a copy of this resolution to the aforementioned
Committee Nlembers as a record for each and. every one of them of
the Mayor and Council' s acknowledgment of their contributions.
