This matter was heard at the April 19, 1973, Zoning Board public hearing at which time the staff said revised plans had been requested. The applicant's representative said they have changed their minds and do not want to remodel as much as originally thought. The representative was told to submit a plan showing exactly what changes they wanted. The Board heard a motion to recommend approval subject to the final plans meeting standards. At the Zoning Board hearing on the parking lot perniit, the applicant disclosed that they no longer intended to build the parking lot portion but only wanted approval of the remodeling of the existing drive-in bank facility to allow more remote tellers and to change the drive somewhat. The Board noted that no one else wanted to be heard about the matter and acted to recourtnend approval of the plan that would be approved by the staff. Subsequently, the applicant brought in a plan which reflected his modified intentions and our office referred them to the various other City offices for review. These plans were ultimately approved by all offices involved in the permit review. These plans dated received April 27, 1973, do not involve a parking lot however, but rather the remodeling described above. However, this office neglected to change the descriptive information about the application which is routinely inserted into every piece of correspondence concerning it. Therefore, the letter to the City Council failed to describe accurately the actual intention of the applicant and the Zoning Board, which was to gain permission for the remodeling of a drive-in banking facility on the property as described rather than for a 55-car parking lot.
