WHEREAS, The Village of Ma.plewood ha.s requested a temporary
construetion permit over a portion of the Workhouse property,
which request has been granted by the Ramsey County Board of
Commissioners pursuant to its Resolution 9-1728, File No. 2141,
subject to concurring action by the City of Saint Paul; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED� That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby authorize the granting of a temporary construction easement
for slope purposes on, over and across the North 20.00 feet of
the South 53.00 feet of the East 190.00 feet of the West 330.00
feet of the following described property:
That part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast
Qua.rter of Section 12, Township 28, Range 22, lying
southerly of the Southerly right-of-way line of Lower
Af ton Road;
said temporary easement to expire December 31, 1974.

Dear Mr. Donovan:
The Village of Ma.plewood ha.s requested a temporary
construction easement over a portion of the Workhouse
property, the title of which is still in the name of
both the County and the City of Saint Paul. The County
Board ha.s consented to this request, a copy of their
resolution attached, and Frank Ma.rzitelli has requested
that we process the request on behalf of the City.
Enclosed please find resolution approving this temporary
construction easement together with a copy of the pro-
posed quit claim deed. Please examine this request,
resolution and deed and, if satisfactory, please refer
to the Ma.yor' s Office together with your recommendations.
