�THEREAS, The City of Saint Paul has en�ered into a Lease
Agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Highways,
whereby the City was granted the use of certain State-owned prop-
erty for the purpose of constructing and ma.intaining a parking
lot for official police patrol cars only; and
WHEREAS� The construction of the proposed parking lot by the
City will require the obtaining of a Limited Use and Construction
Permit from the State of Minnesota, and the Ma.yor recommends that
the Council approve this Limited Use and Construction Permit; now,
therefore� be it
RESOLVED, Tha.t the Council of the City of Saint Paul does
hereby approve the Limited Use and Construction Permit provided
to the City of Saint Paul by the Minnesota State Department of
Highways, and the proper City officers are authorized to execute
the said Agreement on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.

Dear Sir:
Per your request, please find resolution approving the
Limited Use and Construction Permit Agreement between
the City and, the Minnesota State Department of Highways.
I also enclose the four copies of Agreement which you
had previously transmitted to our office. We ha.ve
caused the Agreement to be retyped, ma.king corrections
necessary and as required, because of the cha.nge brought
about by the adoption of the new City Charter.
If this is satisfactory, please submit the same to the
Mayor for submission to the City Council. After the
resolution has been approved, you ma.y have the Agreement
executed on beha.lf of the City of Saint Paul and trans-
mitted to the Highway Department for its signing and
return to the City one completely executed copy.
