WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Saint Paul, by its
Resolution, C. F. 250755, approved October 7, 1970, did vacate
portions of West California Avenue and Park Street, said vacations
reserving to the City of Saint Paul and other public instrumental-
ities public utility easements contained therein and thereon; and
WHEREAS= The Council ha.s been requested to waive said retained
easements, and the effective City Depa.rtments, Northern States
Power Company and Northwestern Bell Telephone Company have filed
written certificates of intended non-use of reserved rights and
easements, which certificates are attached hereto; now� therefore,
be it
� RESOLVED That the Council of the City of Saint Paul, pursuant
to Section 22� .0� of the Saint Paul Legislative Code� as amended�
does hereby waive the retained easements contained in Resolution,
C. F. 250755, approved October 7, 1970, in the following described
property:
That pa.rt of West California Avenue bounded on the West
by the Northerly extension of the East line of Lot 8, �
� Block 4, Merrill`s Division of Rice Street Villas Addition
to the City of St. Paul; and bounded on the East by the
West right-of-way line of the Soo Line Ra.ilway Company,
