PRELIMINARY ORDER

In the Matter of condemning and taking an easement in the land necessary for the
slopes, cuts and fills, including right o£ removal of lateral support from sub3ect
land or remainder thereof, occasioned by excavations thereof or constraction of
slopes in the grading and surfacing with bituminous material the alley in McLaughlin
and Snyder's Rearrangement and Block 46� St. Anthony Park North from 300 feet South
of Co�omiealth Avenue to Co�nonwealth Avenue, in accordance with the blueprint hereto
attached and made a, part hereof, the hatched portions showing the cuts and the shaded
portions showing the fills,

The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof
is $ 150,�0 .
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 5th day of _iuly_, 1973 , at
10:00 o'clock a.m.,in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
